Updated: May 31, 2023

The lithium revival drove two of our best-performing stocks, while getting the paperwork in order proved profitable for other contenders for the week’s best stock.

FLASHPOINT - TRANSCRIPT

Tim - But first here's Steve Butler with the ASX Runners of the Week.

Tim - Thanks to Argonaut

Steve - Thanks Tim.

Steve - Westar Resources jumped more than 130 per cent this week, after locking onto thick pegmatites in its maiden drill campaign just 40km away from Australia’s 4th biggest lithium deposit.

Steve - The encounter sent its share price as high as 7.85 cents after closing last week at just 3.4.

Steve - Rhythm Biosciences also pushed past 130 per cent after it achieved another regulatory milestone for its cancer-fighting tech. Its stock rocketed to a high of 83 cents after signing off last Friday at 36.

Steve - And it's game on for mineral developer Terramin after it received a mining permit for its Tala Hamza zinc project in Algeria. Its share price vaulted 89.7 per cent to 3.7 cents after kicking off the week at 1.95.

Steve - Finally, Intra Energy doubled to 1 cent after locking up a lithium play in what has become North America’s hottest lithium district.

Steve - Looks like the lithium bulls are rumbling again, with the price of the battery metal climbing off the canvas after hitting a 12-month low late last month.

Steve - Might be a good time to lock up the China shop.
