St George Mining is perhaps best known for its Mt Alexander Nickel project near Laverton in WA that was first discovered with a 17m drill intersection going 3 per cent nickel. More recently however the company has stepped into the lithium world, discovering pegmatites at Mt Alexander in addition to picking up seven new lithium projects, several of which are located along strike from high-grade spodumene lithium deposits and active mines.
