Some of the projects contain base and precious metals targets however the real prize appears to be a number of well-located lithium and rare earths targets – some of which are in Brazil’s famed “Lithium Valley” in the state of Minas Gerais.

Matt Birney - Hi Jim
Jim Malone - G'day Matt, how are you?
Matt Birney - Good okay so SI6 recently moved to run the ruler over an exquisitely located suite of four early-stage projects spanning three states in the mineral-rich jurisdiction of Brazil, while locking down the right to pick up 50 per cent of that tenement package.
Jim Malone - Some of the projects contain base and precious metals targets however the real prize appears to be a number of well-located lithium and rare earths targets, some of which are in Brazil's famed Lithium Valley in the state of Minas Gerais.
Matt Birney - Okay Jim who pulled this tenement package together and what sort of a deal have you done with them to pick up 50 per cent of it?
Jim Malone - We've done a deal with a private company called Foxfire Metals who have got a very experienced team of in-house geologists that are Brazilian that have actually put a very good package of prospects together that we've been able to get an exclusive right to acquire 50 per cent interest in a bunch of those prospects. So the fact that we picked the team up with the prospects, you know made it a very attractive deal to us.
Matt Birney - Now as I see it, the Lithium Valley Project looks to be the headline act. Who are the big players around that project area? Because I know they're quite a few and how far away are they from you?
Jim Malone - Well we're right in the middle of the Lithium Valley and around us is Rio Tinto, who have got a lot of ground there as well as Sigma which is a four billion dollar Canadian company and also a Western Australian company, Latin Resources has also got a fairly big land holding quite close to where we are in the Aracuai area of the Lithium Valley which is probably the most prospective area and also in the Salinas area as well.
Jim Malone - There's also a number of other companies; Lithium Ionic and CBL with prospects in that region.
Matt Birney - So to the south of that Lithium Valley Project is your Caldera project. What is that one perspective for and what signal living discoveries, if any, are in that region?
Jim Malone - Well Caldera is more prospective for rare earths, the clay-based rare earths which of course are probably the cheapest and best type of rare earth that you can have.
Jim Malone - And we're within 20 kilometres of Meteoric Resources an ASX-listed company that's been probably the best-performing stock on the ASX in the last 12 months and they've got their project there which is reported as being the world's highest grade play REE discovery.
Matt Birney - Got another two more to the north that will probably get your attention at some stage as well.
